The Oxford Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers is all about textiles.
We love working with fibres and textiles, and thoroughly enjoy sharing our interest – and learning something new! Members also get chances to exhibit our work in public.
Whether you’ve been spinning and weaving for years or it suddenly takes your fancy to learn we are always delighted to welcome new members.
We meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month, except in August, at the Village Hall, Stanton St John, Oxfordshire where parking is easy and visitors are welcome.
Meetings normally run from 10,00am to 4.00pm (bring a packed lunch).
The morning is usually for working on any textile project you may have on the go followed by a talk in the afternoon.
Occasionally we run a full day workshop instead.
